How did you get the house numbers off the window once you put up your post sign? They are stuck on the window with a strong glue.

My husband said he used a razor blade scraper. Then, to get the residue off, use paint thinner or acetone.

They are reflective and are there so the fire department and paramedics can see your house number easily in the dark - like when you're having a heart attack, etc.

They serve a purpose - leave them on.

Heat the glue with a hair dryer to soften it up before you scrape.

It works. the ole razor window scraper and Goo B Gone. works wonders.

i agree with Mallory....thats the way it is in my current Town in NY and there is a Town ordanance that requires it to be on the house and visible from the street...and it requires the developer/builder to insall them on all new homes.....like Mallory said....LEAVE THE NUMBERS ON
