Two Questions:
1. If the home being rented is owned by one person, when they turn in their single ID, can they get two (or more) quest ID's if they rent to a couple or family?
2. Can a renter, request and get Guest ID's

Yes I can. I also do not allow service animals, yes I can legally do this also. I've also been thinking about not allowing redheads as well [emoji851]

outahere: Neither am I being argumentative nor do I hold any malice toward renters.

Specifically all I am asking out loud is what will this community look like down the road if renting would continue unabated and unsupervised and the material affect it may have on my investment? Renting by the way which is transient in nature. The only possible check on rentals, if the situation were to go south, lies with the assignable amenities issue, a factor TV leadership ignored or ignores

I'll forget this issue 10 seconds after I leave TOTV forum

Maybe they like the $50 fee to transfer amenity privileges. I think new deed restrictions can only be made with new houses.

Nope, deed restrictions can be changed after the fact.

I would think that since there are more homes being built here every year that there would be more rentals.

I have no idea whether or not a higher percentage of homes are rented out.

I honestly don't know, nor do I care if the people in my neighborhood are renters or owners. I'm not able to see any difference.

I could never tell who was a renter vs. Owner. Most everyone is nice.

Allegiance: I could not agree more. But this conversation always turns to personal when in my view its just business (ie the affect on my investment).
Simply stated again the issue is intent, mission, purpose or whatever one wishes to label it. The Villages marketing uses terms such as 55+ retirement community" "Florida's Friendliest Home Town"

So what is it? is it a horse, a zebra, or a horse with stripes?

The ability to rent increases demand for houses which may actually increase prices.

You are correct. Many soon to be full timers never would have purchased if they couldn't temper the expenses with high season rental income.
