Another Doggie Doo Run Run person had said she saw a van like this one-- not making noise-- but with "Repent, Repent, Repent" written on it at one of the Villages Postal Stations. Maybe, a Villager or Villagers have adopted a very odd hobby?

While I was at Doggie Doo Run Run this morning a white van with writing on it and blasting with loudspeakers up full volume came by going maybe 20 m.p.h.

The white van's speakers kept on repeating "Repent, repent, repent!" Followed by some kind of phrase about being saved by Jesus if you repent.

Anyone know what church this white van comes from? I was too far away to read the writing on the van being a good 600 feet or so from it at the time.

What is your motive in finding this van?

I am not trying to find it. I would just like to know what church is affiliated with it. It came down CR101 up which are two religious organizations that are north of CR104's intersection with CR101. Of course, it could have been travelling around the rural areas around the Villages and could be from some surrounding community.

I am curious because I have never seen it before and have always been interested in religion. I minored in Religious Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno (Classes of 1980, 1981).

This is the best explanation I've heard so far.

From what I've read, it simply means that "the end of the world as we know it" will end or change. I'd say for those parents and families in Connecticut, the end of their worlds as they "knew it" has already changed, ahead of time, especially so for those precious angels in the first grade classroom.

Ditto for the people who just saw terrible loss at the Jersey Shore, the Long Island coastline, Staten Island, New York and New Jersey..........their worlds will never be the same again. Lives were lost, homes destroyed beyond repair....tragedy after tragedy. We had the same thing in Vermont a year ago with Hurricane Irene....doing things no one would ever have dreamed about (ditto for upstate New York State and the Schoharie Valley).

Those pesky Mayans... they never were sticklers for detail.

According to the Bible-----paraphrasing----"No one knows the day or the hour.......". During my lifetime there have been many end of the world predictations, of course, all of them wrong. Don't expect this one to be any different.

The world, as I knew it, ended yesterday with my husband cheering on the New England Patriots! Oh, and hell must definitely be frozen over today! Bring on 12/21/12--I'm ready!

Same here as the Giants got blown out.

Oh well, there are bigger thing in life. 12/21 will come and pass just like all the other predictions the world will come to an end.

You would think with the end but days away there would be someone willing to sell out cheap in TV for cash so that can party big time.
I can not find no deals.
