If I am backing out of a parking space and someone honks at me, I just stay there for the rest of my life.

Your husband should not have pulled until he knew where he was going

Was he blocking traffic??

Funny thing is earlier in our shopping trip I had told my husband that everyone is extra nice at Christmas time. I guess that man did not get that memo. Anyway, we caught up with the golf cart and was going to apologize to the man, but he quickly turned off when I rolled my window down. I hope you read this that you know we wanted to apologize for any incovenience we caused you.

I agree

Going 15 under the speed limit is neither safe, nor considerate and causes more problems than those going 15 over

I pray for two things a lot.

One is for a cure for cancer.

The other is that all people are granted a sense of humor.

That has happened to me a few times and on mountain roads with no passing. Decided to slow down and enjoy the view.

Regarding people stopping to let off people in front of stores. I am very tolerant but that can cause an accident. Cars (carts ) behind don't expect car stops.

Thinking about it another way, we really don't expect cars to stop to let out people in the right away. That is why supermarkets have convenient parking including handicap parking spaces. It is important enough to be alert to customers coming and going to and from the store let alone cars stopping to drop off persons. And the blowing of the kiss where I come from would be an insult and not a friendly gesture.
