Default Giving Comcast credit

With all the negativity here concerning Comcast[much of it deserved]I'd like to point out a positive about Comcast.I sent an email to Comcast's Debbie Brainard to have a program specialist call me concerning their MLB Extra Innings baseball package.I was promptly contacted and given an answer to my question. It wasn't the answer I wanted but such is life.An hour later the same rep called me back and apologized for giving me the wrong information previously. This time I got the answer I was hoping for earlier. So I was very satisfied and feel they do care about their customers.

gatherer47, I just had a similar experience. I contacted Debbie after problems with an upgrade installation and am so pleased with the response I received. Not only did the send a knowledgeable, professional rep to correct the problem, I have received several calls to follow up which included the new manager in Leesburg. The local people are excellent to deal with; it's ashamed we are expected to deal with their call center which is completely useless.

So, how does one get in touch with Debbie Brainard without having to dial that all important 800 # which gets you to the Phillipines.

I was being charged rental for a modem I owned. Numerous calls to customer service didn't resolve the problem. One email to Debbie resulted in a phone call the next day and full credit for the rental fees.

Also, Debbie Brainard's phone # is 904-256-1800.
Skip2MySue, I just got the voice activated remote and love it they do everything and are amazing! I also upgraded to the premier triple play and with a 2 yr. contract, it was only 9 cents more a month than I was paying and I got a lot more. I have no problem with the 2 yr. contract as I have been with Comcast forever and with the proper contacts, I think I am getting the best service and deal offered.

Question about the new remote.....did you go to Leesburg to get it? The commercial with the Minions is adorable..

Xfinity has great apps in the App Store. Love the remote control, TV to Go and the WiFi finder. Very happy here, have had Comcast for 8 years now. Just miss Bright House private channel with the new all day. Comcast has VNN, ugh

Thanks RN1TV for the info. I also got the 2 yr. plan with the triple play which locks in my rate (although I wish it were cheaper). Easy upgrade as they shipped me the stuff and as inept as I am I was able to make the changeover on 2 TV's and it worked the first time I set it up!!!!!!! Then returned the old gear to the Comcast store on 441 at my leisure.
