Changing from Commerical to Residential?....Church requested use of additional parking across from Church and was informed that area would now be residential zoning and would not be available for additional parking....Is there truth to this?...Area is also across from Santa Fe Crossing strip mall

If your talking of the large area on the S/S of 466 which would also be accross from santa fe building it's been rezoned. TV is supposed to be putting 325 homes in the area. I noticed survey stakes out there already as well as by the dead end traffic circle on Morse. I read supposedly there infrastructer will be done by years end.

Me too! Maybe you and I can see if we can get a package deal from an ENT specialist when we get back to TV to have our noses returned to their original positions!

If you are talking about the area north of the bridge (the big one crossing Lake Sumter) and east of Morse Blvd, south of the tunnel - I saw the surveyor stakes yesterday and thought maybe this was the new "Sunrise Park" I saw mentioned in the paper a week or two ago.

That might be a part of what's going on in that area. See item #7 on p.6 of the pdf:

But I also believe there are new homes to be built in that area as well:

In case the link does not work this is the Sumter County Commissioners meeting agenda for Feb 8, 2011.

How this is 479 pages long but in it (about page 122 to 140) about this new area. Also if you look around you will see detail plans for the assisted living center to be built on the north side of 466a right near the cart tunnel.

It also contains a lot of the lay out plans for areas south of 466a.
