It should be an order. De Santis should issue one for the whole state. His response has been pathetic and will lead to many more people dying in Florida, including TV.

May 3rd right now

davem4616 04-01-2020 07:13 AM

you're really interested in the rumor mill??

Well I heard that they are going to start opening them after those snowbirds leave...then I heard they were going to open them before the snowbirds leave...then I heard it was in August...then someone said it might be after Labor Day...then I heard someone say that the Morse family should open up their private pools to the rest of us, also heard that they will be filling in the pools now that it's obvious people can live without them

hope the above satisfies your quest for hearing rumors for today

Are you serious? This bug has just gotten started in The Villages. This is going to get much, much worse.

August?? Why pay someone to milk the cow when the milk streams in automatically!

To be clear, if people don’t adhere to the advisory it will become an order —that’s what has happened in every country and state making guidelines into orders. This pandemic is literally life and death —do you really want to get into water that you are sharing, whether you are 6’ away from each other or not—with someone who may not even know they are contagious?

People are getting sick out there and your concern is when will the pools open. STAY HOME and relax :shocked.

meridian5850 04-01-2020 07:42 AM

Advisory and order have different meanings. But the pools will open sooner if everyone would comply with the advisory.

Jsussle 04-01-2020 07:43 AM

What are you freaking nuts? SOCIAL DISTANCING, IF WE DON'T MORE PEOPLE WILL DIE! DOCTORS AND NURSES ARE RISKING THEIR LIVES AND ALL YOU CAN THINK OF IS GOING TO POOL? SACRIFICE LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE DO, I KNOW SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED FROM THIS VIRUS. IT IS HEART BREAKING TO HAVE PEOPLE YOU KNOW DIE. IT IS LIKE DROWNING.IF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DOES NOT GET SUPPLIES TO THE STATES MORE WILL DIE.

Jsussle 04-01-2020 07:44 AM

Absolutely, i agree we need to social distance to get rid of this virus.

Bfdretiref 04-01-2020 07:46 AM

YOUR RIGHT FACTS ARE BEST....BUT WE hope....THAT THINGS WILL GET BETTER SOON

Iowagirl2 04-01-2020 07:51 AM

Could that be an April fools joke?
