In October 2010 we had SECO do an energy audit of our house. On the report it states that our pool pump costs 26 cents per hour to operate.
Summer months the pump runs 9hrs a day, so roughly $70 a month.

I just bought in TV a resale that has a salt water pool. Who do you recommend to repair salt water system? Need to do some work on pool. thanks dsned

The tamarind grove pool is a salt (bromide) system. Have not noticed any negatives from using it, don't know about maintenance.

We have a salt pool. Our'ss maintained weekly by Accurate Pool Maintenance.

I have a salt water pool and it is maintained by me. This is not rocket science and is easy to do. I had a cholorine pool before and it was a pain in the XXx to maintain when compared to the salt water pool. Besides that $100 a month I don't give to a pool service buys a lot of beer.:beer3:
