My wife can bless her soul! In general you are correct but we do 99% of our FOOD shopping at Walmart (I would NEVER walk into one up north because other stores were competitive and I hate Walmart almost as much as ComCrap) but their prices here are so much less on many items - up to $2 on a few items that sell for around $5. Other than for a SUB when we go to Publix we only buy BOGO's despite the fact they often jack up the prices on the individual BOGO items to make it a BOGO.

Bottom line is, and to stay on topic, my wife could easily just buy a chicken but won't ..... because she's a vegetarian. :D :D

Danny Wegman is a friend of the man who owns Publix and he told him that he would never open a store in direct competition with Publix.

Publix and Wegmans are in NC and VA.

Publix is employee owned.

All I am doing is repeating what Danny Wegman has said when asked about opening stores in Florida.
