First time in 5 years, no big deal. Fires in Colorado, now that's a big deal.

Correct but you can call at your leisure when things die down. The paper is very forthcoming about giving you a credit.

Happy to be able to provide material for your sarcasm. No one said it was a big problem.

Posting intended to inform and save people time on hold to the newspaper.

...and....I Thank You for the info...much appreciated.

You saved us a trip to our postal station to buy a dry one.. :beer3:

OMG....is all I can say.

Mine was pretty soaked but I took it apart and laid the pages over chair backs and the kitchen counter and it dried within an hour. I put it back together and read it. No problem but I had to find something else to do during that hour.

Don't make me have to turn around..........

Just one of those days when an unexpected rain got stuff wet.

Just one of those days when someone nice warned us not to call the paper because the wait was long.

Just one of those days when we can act like little children in the back seat of a car on a long road trip with no air conditioning.

We wrinklies are sure interestin'.

My paper was soaking wet this morning and weighed about 15 lbs. I went over to our postal station around 6:30 and there were 2 papers in the bin. I have had papers that were partially soaked but nothing like this. In any case we needed the rain.

yeh, our paper was soaked too, but only the first time in 3 years - Buttonwood area

golf2140 06-15-2013 02:08 PM

I threw my paper into the trash. Just went back and read Wednesday's paper. Not sure why I get it, don't have time to read it most days. Second or third time it's been wet in 12 years. Bad record Daily Sun !!!!!!!!

Some times we all just have to vent. I guess this is one of those days for some of us.

I've got to say this is the first time in 3 years that I got a wet paper. Also my paper is always delivered in the exact same spot in my driveway every morning without fail before 5:00 AM. My newspaper boy/man/woman etc. is the best I've ever had and I can't fault them for 1 wet paper. They got suprised by that storm as we all did. I make sure that whoever delivers my paper is taken care of during Christmas season.

It was so wet out, that I lost a golf ball in the sand trap at #7 at heron.

SusanOfWoodbury 06-15-2013 04:37 PM

I live in Woodbury and it poured here this morning along with lots of lightening. My paper was dry when I picked it up....
