Hair dryer did a fine job of drying out my paper. Not a big inconvenience

Can't understand why anyone would bother to call anyone to get credit for a newspaper that got wet. Just wrap some fish in it and don't worry about missing the Villages news of the day.

Happy to be able to provide material for your sarcasm. No one said it was a big problem.

Posting intended to inform and save people time on hold to the newspaper.

Jack: Apparently, even in Florida's Friendliest Hometown, no good deed goes unpunished.

But I am sure that you have received a pm of apology from each sarcastic poster who misinterpreted your intent.

Regardless, I appreciated your courtesy in sharing the info.

The internet version never gets wet.

I'd like to thank the poster. This thread explained why I could not find a paper at the postal stations when mine was wet. Saved me from further hunting. Explained how to dry the paper for future reference. I draped sections over chairs but learned that I needed to take it apart or use a hair dryer. Thanks TOTV for an informative thread!

I worked in the circulation dept. for the Milwaukee Journal for 38 1/2 yrs. & in my opinion The Village Sun does a SUPERIOR JOB in the circulation area!

No. 15.8 cents/day if you use the same amount for every day and it's not leap year. Sunday paper should be more expensive though. Thank god it wasn't Sunday's paper that got wet! That would be something to get upset about!

This must have been an unusually bad day, many complaints in my neighborhood. Mine was dry as a bone. Took it over to my neighbor.
