Default Seasonal Visits

My Husband and I are thinking of buying a home in tv but we would be rving about 6 months a year and staying there the rest of the time.our concern is leaving the house empty for long periods of time.Have there been any problems with houses being left empty for long periods of time and damage done to the property? My friends had a couple of instances in their community in northern Fl.

There are plenty of Empty Nest companies which will check your home for you. I think Villages Watchdogs advertise on this site. They seem knowledgeable and prices are competitive. They will give you a checklist of things to do before you leave.

Probably 30% of people in TV are seasonal, and even more travel during the summer months. I feel perfectly comfortable leaving our house for six months.

I look at it this way: when we leave for six months, we know we have Paradise to come home to!!
