Thumbs down Selfish Villagers

Why do some in The Villages feel they are owed? Yesterday I saw contractors picking up an enormous mountain of debris in the parking lot of Sea Breeze rec center ( 2 different locations). It took them over 2.5 hrs to load and sweep the areas.
Well, sometime between yesterday and this evening (Saturday), some lazy, selfish Villagers wouldn't take the time to wait for their pickup, or at least take the bags to the county dump, decided to place their 6 or 8 bags in the area which was just cleaned. If they couldn't wait any longer, they could have at least put them on a pile along the road waiting for disposal. I spoke to one of my the rec staff and they are keeping an eye on the area and hope to catch someone in the act. I hope the culprit reads this forum and feels just a tinge of sorrow....I doubt it though.

Doubt they will feel anything. People like that only think of themselves.

They ought to try to lift the fingerprints off the bags and send them a bill.

Another reason for camera's, there's just a group here that needs to be monitored.

It's not the selfish, it's the privileged/entitled. Probably the same people that consistently drove off to the side of the mmp, that parallels 466a, to miss a puddle that was less than 2" deep and caused deep ruts. After a couple of days of that, I finally pulled a big broken off limb into the middle of one area to stop the idiots from doing it.

The worst part is; the hurricane clean-up crew is hitting all the areas only ONCE, they will not be circling back. Those obnoxious idiots are making a mess that will sit until some landscaping crew is forced to move it.

Yes, cameras are necessary along with a fine when recognized and their picture posted at the area. Fines don't always work for some who can afford it but shame may do the trick.
