In our neighborhood adult pool and in many others I have gone to, water walkers are NOT a regulary scheduled exercise activity...people just do it!
Plus if you want to swim laps you can do that at any regional sports pool.
And I’m surprised to hear, that there are lanes in the adult pools!
Personally I like the socialization at an adult pool very much...to each his own.

I disagree with you on that, since that has not been my experience in TV!
Plus my neighbors and I are very considerate of one another, and not just at the pool!
