I agree with the always reasonable posters who don't make mountains out of molehills and don't see a tempest in a teapot.
Anyone here see a tempest in a teapot? I see a letter to the editor that is pretty funny given recent news reports.

Why would you need backup? This is a post about letter to the editor, I think it's very funny in light of all the recent sexual harassment reports in the news. If you read the other comments on this thread you will see that most see it as a joke. Nobody takes it seriously!

Yep, I'm sure it was meant as a joke.

You are a little "new" here so you may not know that this Forum hasn't allowed us to discuss the online news or call it by it's other name. So I don't think he meant online news in the broader sense but the **************.

Let's see if that got through the censors.

I think sir or madam you are taking a tone on here that we aren't used too. But we all believe in the first and the second amendment, so let 'er rip.
"The Poster" can certainly speak for themselves. I'm not new here by any means, my parents and uncle bought here in the 90s and I own several properties here.

This forum certainly allows discussion of any news, including the "online newspaper" as long as you do not include links. As far as I know, the "online news" does not post false info. Feel free to refute that with credible sources

Who the heck is "we" and what "tone" are you referring to? Last I checked its an open forum and if you disagree with my posts or opinions you are free to say what you want.

Default Dan Newlin would be happy to

Well actually some time back I was standing on the practice green at Truman, dropped two golf balls on the fringe to practice putting and the guy turned on the sprinklers, one of which was directly below me. As a result I was wet head to toe and to add insult to injury soaked my new golf ensemble

I wanted immediately told my foursome i was going to sue because of two obvious facts. I would make claim that the act was accidental vis a vis intentional because insurance companies don't cover intentional acts. Secondly as a result of that accident I was sure to come down with some disease from that filthy water.

Dan Newlin would be happy to handle my claim

P.S. the story is true

Personal Best Regards:

And don't park your Vette by a sprinkler head.

I have had to run for it a few times while walking the dog on the sidewalk near the golf courses.
