I assume the glass is under warranty for a set period of time, and unless you did something to alter (window film) or abuse (impact) the glass, it should be covered.

An indication of impact on the broken pane would be a spiderweb pattern of breakage, outward from impact point. You might want to look up (google) "spontaneous glass breakage", so you are versed when the inspector stops by.
