Still waiting for Lambchop to explain the bogus remark. Since the station is open, and all the pumps were actively pumping gallons today, seems not to be an issue anymore....so, haters, what do you think happened to make that possible.

I am constantly amazed by folks that complain because one gas station is a penny or two higher than another. With most of our cars, what is the difference on a fillup 15 or 20 cents? If you are filling a golf cart the difference is 6 to 10 cents. Sure, I want to pay the lowest price possible, but I am not going to drive across the street to save a penny per gallon.

I don't understand how the Blue Plate diner can be offering Lake Perch dinners when they close at 2 p.m. Is it lake perch for breakfast?

It's a long drive to the Great Lakes. They have to leave at 2 to get back in time for the next day.

I do remember stopping there one time when my card wouldn't work at the pump. But that was one time in four years.

Pretty sure Lambchop doesn't own the Marathon Station. Either just stirring the pot or just doesn't have a clue. Either way it keeps he/her happy I suppose.

Think that Shell station has gone through at least three owners. The first couple failed dismally. This owner has made a success of it. So far as I know, there have been two instances when he didn't have gas. One was when the truck showed up late and this time with the computer problem. There was one other incident when the owner was on vacation and the kid who was supposed to open up showed up over two hours late.

So, lambchop's comment has some validity but does not apply to this owner. Fair is fair and the derogatory comments are not fair.

this has been going on for 5+ years - dont you think we get tired of going from Colony to Pinellas to get gas for our golf carts??? the "computer Problem " is becoming a convenient excuse...
