Hello All,

Am planning a visit for the next 2 weeks. Should I bring extra long pants (chilly?) or extra shorts? (warm enough for?)

One of each is more than enough. Underwear and socks are optional.

When going to the Village or living in The Villages for the month of January, be prepared for some really cool if not cold weather. We usually have some Frost and some deep frost.

Yea, it was 28 last week in the morning. Killed my little baby citrus tree even though it was covered. :cryin2: I've been trying to get a refund of my amenity fees for that week but have had no luck so far!! :jester:

I would bring three pairs of long pants and 5 pairs of shorts. At least 3 long sleeve shirts. If a girl bring some capris too. Bring some socks, tennis shoes and a pair of sandals. Layering is the key as the mornings are very cool and in the low 70's by afternoon but then it cools off again. I would bring one heavier jacket and a light weight jacket for riding around in the golf cart in the evening. Definitely check the upcoming week forecast on the weather.com the day before you leave.

Exactly! You can always purchase what you need if you find yourself in need of one or the other.

Yes, but don't just go by the high temp for the day. Look at the morning and evening. You may be playing golf or pickleball in the morning and going to the squares in the evening. Diversify!

Bealls Outlet. We always do a run there when the kids come. They NEVER bring the right clothes.
