Moving In
 

Darn- sorry I missed it. Still working in the city until Sept 9- last day. Hubbie up north on Sage LAke at summer home and I am hanging with family and friends in Royal Oak until move/retirement day . Have new home in Amelia Village that we bought 2 years ago and that day is finally here in 2.5 weeks!!!! Golf carts are ordered and we were down in April arranging new furniture and a fresh paint job. Can't wait to get there. Hope to find a MI group to cheer on the Tigers to the World Series!! :D

Last Day At Work
 

It was a fun last day. Nice party and funny gifts. They had a cake made with Michigan and TV. It is fun. Great to be done with working up here.

What kind of group is this and how does one go about meeting all of you fine michigan people? We are here in Michigan right now but will be going to our home in the Villages in late September.

This started as some what of a lark. Trish and I discovered that we lived in close proximity to each other and I joined both she and her husband at a wine tasting at Plum Market in West Bloomfield one night. That was meeting #1.

Then Trish uncovered a few more gals and the next thing you know we are all meeting for Dinner at Sweet Loraines in Southfield (meeting #2). There is no club or clique, just some gals who either already live there or are drooling to move there. I bet we do manage to meet again before the end of September. We will make sure you get the news on the particulars in case you would like to meet up with us.
