manabouttown- you need not worry about cigarette smoke being introduced to the house thru the central A/C system- residential systems do not draw in outside air, but just recirculate the indoor air.

My neighbor sits on his screened porch & smokes all day & when you go outside on my patio I don't smell it!! I haven't smoked for 30 yrs & I really don't like it!! But I know how hard it is to quit! If you go to the pools they have special area's where you smoke usually out side of the gate!!!
