Love it!

It is always good to have a spouse with a different skill set than your own.

I'm the spider rustler.

Creepy story. Are you saying this happened at your home in The Villages?

Some of you are taking an intended light hearted post a little too seriously. Wife never in danger, door really not locked. Maybe you need to consider a hobby.

I loved your post and so did my husband. Especially when you used the word screamed. You have an amazing sense of humor. Lucky couple. You are witty, disarming and charming. And I gotta bet she is quick and funny too and appreciates your humor.

Keep 'em coming.

Ditto! I thought your post was funny too, Paper1. Real life can be like that sometimes and those are often the times we remember and laugh about the longest, after the trauma is over of course.

And fear or general dislike of snakes is not gender specific. No need to worry about the less than light hearted that don't get it. Those of us that did, well

You’re lucky she didn’t decide she wanted another snake pet. Would serve you right for locking her out. (Just kidding. I loved your story. Grinned every time I thought about it. BTW, my ex hubby really would have locked the door just to make sure it didn’t get in the house.)

Default No offense........

Well, if I was one of those taking your post a little too seriously and my comment offended you, I apologize (but I'd still like to hear your wifes' side of the story)
