Posted at each gate, the gate closes after each car. People just can’t wait and ride the bumper of the car(s) in front of them.
One car at a time. Let the gate open and close. |

I like it when the gates are down…. But I always come to a full Stop 🛑. The gate on Pinellas that goes to 466a is really stupid. There is not reason for it… there is no golf cart crossing or driveways. Take it DOWN!

One of the many jobs done by the Community Watch drivers is to try and reattach the downed gates, if possible. Don't know if this has changed with the new gate maintenance contract.

Sometimes is a few weeks in the winter, sometimes it's in the summer, fall or spring... It has nothing to do with the term as used to describe those who are butthurt by anything that might offend them... The wife and I are "snowflakes". I'm able to come down 4-5 times a year, for a few weeks each time, while my wife is able to stay a bit longer, on most visits... Soon, we'll become frogs... And we'll go back north to the DC area, once in a while, to visit the kids... And anyone who is offended by the therm "The Wife" is the other kind of snowflake... |

Anyway a snowflake comes when they can for a week or two and then returns when they can. For us this means 3-6 weeks a year. |
