I'm sorry to hear that Two Bills, reports are that Europe is about to have a very bad winter regarding energy prices & availability. Are you seeing the same? Thanks, Dusty

They say energy prices will be off the clock unless the governments freeze the price, and subsidize the energy companies.
Wife and I grew up in UK during, and in the aftermath of WW2.
There are a lot worse things in lfe than being cold.
We'll survive.
Maybe Global warming will save us! :icon_wink:

Sorry this has happened but govt freezing energy prices would be a disaster. Prices already trending downward.

Hundreds of Canadian snowbirds own/rent in TV..more financially challenging each year. Ex - rental at $4000/month for 5 months = $20,000US. At the current conversion rate that equates to $26,300 CDN. As Two Bills said, add travel costs, health insurance, living expenses while in TV all the while covering the expenses of a home in Canada & the 'sunshine' becomes very expensive.

As UK and Europe move into winter, and demand increases, the price of natural gas and electricity is not going to trend downwards. Rather the opposite.
Now Russia has cut NG. pipeline to Europe demand supply situation is worsening.
Demand and open market prices only goes one way in a shortage of anything.
Thank God we have plenty of toilet rolls!
