Some people like to exercise themselves as well as their dogs!

I am pretty sure there is one from Laurel Manor, maybe on Saturdays. Call there , they can tell you. Then UFS Health Sysytems started two that go from Spanish Springs, don't remember which days or times. Call USF office in The Villages, they'll tell you.

I am not a resident, I hope to be. My parents have lived there for several years and we visit almost every year. We love TV. We love to walk and because we don't live there we don't know the "rules" written or otherwise. That being said, whenever we walked we never had anybody say anything or any close calls or anything.
To me it seems like there is a minority that has a problem with this "problem", real or otherwise, and makes it seem like TV is nothing but a bunch of whiners. My experience is they are not, just a few. There is always that group that spend their whole life making sure others live their life the way they think it should be lived.
I have walked with and against traffic my whole life and I am still alive to write this email.
Question, which way should I walk on a one way street?

Think you summed it up pretty well, "A bunch of whiners in the villages" I agree.

I want to make it clear that I do not think that everybody in TV are whiners. There is a minority of whiner there and everywhere. Our experience has be great and friendly no matter how we walked, drove or golfed.
Keep in mind that we don't try to go against the rules, however if we did break a rule we did not know it and we where not scolded for it if we did.
Keep in mind we have never brought our dog yet so that has kept us out of the the most trouble!!

Notlongnow: Can't help but laugh about not having your dog has kept you out of trouble. Very funny. Last winter/spring I came close to running down a walker and his dog one foggy morning. I was thinking ---- what was this guy thinking?? But later I thought---what was I thinking out on such a foggy morning when I'm retired and really don't "need" to be out there either! We tend to forget we are retired (in the twilight of our lives) and sometimes just should chill out!

Me too! You made me laugh. I'm sure you will be one of the ones who doesn't whine and whose dog will keep you out of trouble!

When I finally get to live in TV I would hope to be more like the male version of Gracie, who I hope to meet some day. She seems to live life, not let life live her.

I hope to be at least a part-time res. in a couple years.

I walk a lot and I have had some problems but 99.9% of people are friendly and wave everytime you see them. I walk in the neighboorhood and on the MM paths and on the sidewalks
