Some sources are a lot more slanted than others. And on Facebook whom you have as friends can make a huge difference. Most of my Facebook friends have the same opinions as I do if not I usually just ignore the person or unfriend them.

I also use the Ignore feature a lot on Talk of the Villages. No sense giving myself more indigestion.

Personal experience. Where we are today. For me a major problem. I received a facebook message that went All my friends agree with me so I am unfriending you.
My view actually comes from Condi Rice. If, all your friends agree with you, you need some new friends. Too many people are essentially talking to themselves.

I've gotten nothing but good out of Face Book after teaching it years ago what I wouldn't respond to.

I could not agree with your more. My friends know if they use our social media for anything political or rant and rave about whats wrong with the USA today, I will no longer be their social media friend.
My new job in life is to enjoy the remaining years I and let the younger generations figure out what their world will be like. My job description does not include listening to people unleashing their negative feelings.
