Life Style Preview
I finally talked my wife into trying the life style Preview. I fell in love with TV the first time I saw it, but my wife thinks its too cold up there. We live in South West Florida now. We will be in January 21st till Jan 25th. I really want her to have a good time. Can anyone that has done the life style preview suggest the best things to see and do while we are there? I have my fingers crossed that the weather will be good, I'm going to have a tough sell if its a cold snap that week. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Bob

Re: Life Style Preview
1. Take the bus tour to get a feeling of the facilities and services available.
2. Attend both centers for the live music and events that take place. 3. Play Golf. 4. Look at both new and pre-owned homes with TV Agent 5. Eat at several restaurants in TV 6. Use your guest pass to go to Katie Belle's-enjoy the music and dance. 7. Get tickets to The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas playing @ the Savannah center while you are here. 8. Go to all the 9 different country clubs. 9. Find the church of your faith and visit it. 10. Visit the wellness center and the hospital. 11. Go to the polo grounds 12. Drive around the various Villages and see the properties and common areas. 13. Spend time at a couple of neighborhood pools. 14. Go to the community centers and observe functions taking place and participate if you wish. 15. Read past post of TOTV

Re: Life Style Preview
We were there for four days this past week. It was not enough time to do half of what we would have liked. Spent 1/2 the time looking at houses. Played some tennis, got up early and photographed Sumter Landing as the sun was rising and the place was coming to life. Went to a Princess Diana dress exposition in Ocala. Got most of the freebees on the Lifestyle card clicked off.
Oh, and we were worried about it being too hot in TV. I've lived in Fort Lauderdale for 45 years. My wife lived up north and thought she would prefer living further north in North Carolina. But after considerable thought about the cold, she prefers the warmth of TV. It's all relative, isn't it. If your wife thinks it's too cold in TV, she has her body sensors turned way up to "extreme sensitivity." There is very little variation in temps between central Florida and the SW or SE FL coasts. If you are within a mile of the coast, there is less temperature variability from night to day - being inland, TV provides more temparature variance between night and day, maybe 15 to 20 degrees difference instead of just 5 to 10 degrees, which I think is a neat thing... but not as extreme as up north, say St. Louis for example where the day/night variance might be 30 to 40 degrees or more. But compared to SW Florida, there is very little difference.
