Oh dear!! I was gone a few hours and babies are popping up everywhere! I love the little darlings at birth, I volunteer to cuddle and nurture and change diapers! I am done with nursing though. Bottles only! Don't call when Rockys here, though! he needs me to rock and roll all night long. Oh No ! No rolling, thats how you all got pregs!

Re: Someone stir things up please

Okay just now tuning in and Sam is right. It was a cold winter...course they all are here...and...as I look down I cannot see my thighs because of the bulge that is pinning them to the chair. I must be pregnant.

...or could it be... well maybe... see we just got home from the State Fair, a really big event here every year....ranked one of the best State Fairs in the country.

We arrived at the Fair about 3:45pm and ate until 7:30pm then the concert (Chuck Wickes, Jewel and Brad Paisley) until 11:00 and then another hour of food. I ate a taco, a Pronto Pup, Deep Fried Cheese on a Stick, Mini Donuts, a Pork Chop on a Stick, Chocolate Covered Bacon Strips, Fried Pickle Chips, a pineapple shake with hot fudge, a foot long hot dog, A bunch of Aunt Martha's Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies, and I can't remember what else.

You know, the bulging belly could possibly be due to that extra Pickle Chip...

Well all I know is if I am preggers, the kid is going to Boarding School straight from the hospital. If I am not I better call "Jennie".

redwitch 08-23-2008 11:01 AM

Re: Someone stir things up please

Susan, you HAVE to be pregnant to be able to eat all of that stuff. Definitely gotta be those pg cravings in action.

Skip boarding school -- just sent to Rhonda until it talks and uses the potty and then I'll take over until the teens. THEN boarding school (unless SamH wants to take over).

The pickle chip, was it served with ice cream?? Inquiring minds want to know.

(Better test for pregnancy than a dead rabbit or a wet strip.)

I am sooooo glad that I am out of town. Fay seems to have had a very weird side effect that I am glad to avoid.

If any puppies are available send them my way...

Re: Someone stir things up please

You have actually managed to freak me out Gracie.

I really hadn't put it together, but the Fried Dill Pickle Chips and the Pineapple Shake with Hot Fudge did happen at the same place, same time. But I only had two pickle chips, Tom had the rest. The shake was mine.

You have me worried now cause Tom does look like he could be about hmmmm 7 - 8 mos along.....OMG!!! We could be having twins together!!!! http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/j...ys/4_11_21.gifhttp://i274.photobucket.com/albums/j...ys/4_11_21.gifhttp://i274.photobucket.com/albums/j...ys/4_11_21.gif

HAhahaha Susan! I would have gladly helped you consume that neat junk food.

Beady, you know we're all like this with or without a storm. Come home anyway. The water is fine and we miss you.

Jerseygirl and rshoffer...yes, we are afflicted!!!

Just Susan 08-23-2008 02:30 PM

Re: Someone stir things up please

Sam I just know you will not be good for my figure.

Red if it is twins, I am sending one to you.

Rokinronda 08-23-2008 02:56 PM

Re: Someone stir things up please

Thank you Susan, whew!!! I never said anything about twins!!! Had that scare once! LOL REALLY! So, after the single twin was born I was so overwhelmed that I waited until she was entering kindergarten to have baby #2. I've also been reconsidering what I previously said in this forum. Bouv woke me every night at 4 AM. Now that she went to the Rainbow Bridge, I'm sleeping all night! No baby wake up calls wanted. Occaisional overnight? Maybe. Now on to important things, please, please tell me about the chocolate covered bacon!! OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!

samhass 08-23-2008 03:16 PM

Re: Someone stir things up please

OK. I stirred things up on the "Guys" post. Many may think I am wrong. I just didn't foresee Helping hands morphing into a charity thing. It's supposed to be simple. Maybe I am simple. :dontknow:

!!!!!!!!!!!News Broadcast!!!!!!!!!!

Attitude Greatly affected by Continuous Rainfall!

It is predicted that the craziness expressed in this thread will continue in The Villages. Due to the high level of moisture in the the air which is depleting the oxygen supply, TOTVer's and those living vicariously through them are expected to subcomb to moments of giddiness and serious brain drain...the only way to cure a waterlogged cranium.

The following weather report predicts that there is no end in sight for the pervasive silliness.

Re: Someone stir things up please

On a serious note....

Ronda,
Take a half circle of paper and roll it into a cone shape.

Fry strips of bacon to the doneness you prefer. The better the bacon the better the strip.

Dip Fried and drained strip into Rich Dark Chocolate that has something in it that makes it harden quickly but tastes better than that squirt bottle chocolate.

Fill cone and munch.

Good thing the pork is dipped in dark chocolate...otherwise it could be bad for you.

samhass 08-23-2008 03:53 PM

Re: Someone stir things up please

Bacon is frying as we post. ;D

I hope it has stopped raining in TV so we can get on with more important posts, like who stole the buffalo out from under our noses.

Not a real dog guy but that last pic by Chels is awesome!

Thats not a man , Its a Buffalo ...

Don't you know nuthen...........

Just Susan 08-23-2008 08:41 PM

Re: Someone stir things up please

Silly Fumar, human men only look like buffalo when they lay on their backs...in that position they could also be mistaken for ski hill moguls or very big ant hills (if on the beach).

Re: Someone stir things up please

OK Susan, I am LMAO. When you said to cut a circle of paper and make a cone out of it, I wondered, DUNCE CAP?, COVER W/FOIL and put on head BECauSE ALIENS WERE LISTENING?, but not where the choc bacon goes. mmmmmmmmmmmm

Just Susan 08-23-2008 09:54 PM

Re: Someone stir things up please

The "Pork Lickers" as they were honestly called, unlike, practically every other edible thing at the Fair, were not served on a stick. They had to serve them in some convenient portable way, so they put them in a paper cone.

(I refrained from disclosing the real name earlier, cause I can only imagine the reaction to their name.)

P.S. What does LMAO mean?

OMG Chels whata cute puppy!!! It's so cute it doesn't look real!

Me too on the preggers! There's no hubby in my house though. I was just playing Elvis' song "One Night With You", and in the middle of the night Elvis "came" ooops, haha and now I'm in that delicate situation. Wow it was lovely and soooo worth it!!!

All this rain is driving me nuts, and my frizzy hair looks like a big bleached blonde brillo pad. Just one look is enough to scar all my neighbors for life. No de-frizzers will work in this humidity! I only hope my baby has Elvis' hair!!!!
