Default Southern Oaks area - 1 year later

A year ago today I did a lengthy flight over the Villages of Southern Oaks areas showing the work in progress. Exactly 1 year later I repeated that flight and have produced this video that shows the incredible progress and changes that have been made to the areas.

Awesome job on this video! I had never seen the original, as I was just starting out in my Villages discovery phase. It was weird seeing my street with no houses on it! I’m just so excited about the coming year... can’t wait for the Everglades Rec Center to be complete and having the ability to travel to Brownwood & beyond to my buddy’s place via cart! Thanks again for posting these drone videos. They’ve been such a help getting the lay of the land before I bought & getting a peak of things to come!

You do so much to educate and instruct about this amazing place. One picture is worth thousands and thousands of words. The trees are still there and water features have been added.

Thank you for sharing this. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I have shared it on Facebook. Hope that's o.k.

Trying to sew the seed among friends and relatives.

Great job as usual Don. Thanks.
Does anyone know how many new homes were built in that year?

First of all the craftsmanship to get the product as we see it is just excellent.
To coordinate two different videos from two different times and then phase the like scenes is very impressive.

The message conveyed by the side by side comparison only confirms the capability and consistency of the developer.

I recall back when our home was one of the only ones on our block, asking the sales agent how long will it take to develop the village we were in and the surrounding area. When they said about a year, I figured that was the sales jargon/pitch.

That was back when TV was only 35,000 population.

Thank you for sharing your pass time passion with us.

About 2300 according to sales figures for the last year. This would also include the remaining homes in Marion County, the Fruitland Park area, and Osceola Hills area. The Fenney/DeSoto area make up the majority of the new home sales.

Thanks Don, I really appreciate you taking the time to post the videos. I want to talk to you further about the cabinets you installed over your washer and dryer. I tried instant messaging you, is there a better way to reach you? My email is info@uptownbee.com
