Default Spanish springs square

I was just down near the SS square and I cant see much of a difference from what it was....I can't believe that the square has been closed this long. I expected at least a few changes.

Didn't they construct a new building for where all the controls, etc. are for the entertainment?

Yes they did. Took out many trees that restricted views, put in palms, widened the seating area and really dressed up the place. Nice job......

Very disappointed that we lost some needed shade and I didn't like the pavers they put down. I'm curious to hear what the dancers think of the new floor.
As usual, at 1:30 today about 30 chairs were already roped off or tied together.

Not sure what ALL the dancers thought of the new pavers in the NEW Town Square but I had a patient come in to my clinic(Physical therapy) today stating we should be getting more patients real soon due to people tripping over them trying to dance!!
Never have I seen a DANCE floor with lumps and bumps especially for people in the "prime of their life" trying to enjoy the rest of their life staying in one piece!! Hope you all have very strong ankles!!
Be safe!!

Cool

I was there for the re-opening and didn't see one dancer stumble over the pavers...they are very flat and uniform. The renovated square looks great and there's lots more room for chairs; roped off or otherwise.

I was very pleased with the renvations. I think they also power washed a lot of the pre-existing structures. The whole area looks cleaner and fresher.
