An additional reason to keep them, and install more, is that they serve as a nice reminder to the meaning of "STOP" to the those who don't seem to comprehend. I was rear-ended by one of those goofs at the exit end of a tunnel. Then, he made the (unwise) decision to yell at me for stopping. The short discussion that followed probably will have no effect, but at least he knows that not all of us appreciate the danger and rudness displayed so requently on our MMP. What is plain ignorant with a golf cart could more easily be fatal with larger motor vehicle operators not complying with "STOP" sign on the road.

A terrible reason for speed bumps.

I guess no trees or greenery higher than 3 feet equals better visibility?

The speed bump at the Havana tunnel is huge. Is is sized for a full-size vehicle not a golf cart. If District Seven Decides it needs to have a speed bump in this location it should be sized for golf carts, not cars It hurts my back too, and probably my cart no matter how slow I go. I stop at Stop Signs anyway. No one seems to stop at the Stop Sign at Stillwater and O'Dell Circle. Just stupidity. Speed bumps are not the answer.

If it keeps people from speeding, GREAT!

This discussion/disagreement has been ongoing for some time. I would be surprised if it were ever resolved to everyone’s satisfaction.
