Speed of Development
We first visited TV the second week of January, 2016. I believe it was a few weeks later when the plans for Fenney were announced. Now, a year later, it is unbelievable! Golf courses, rec center, hundreds of homes... all in under a year!
Is it just me, or is anyone else impressed with the speed of the development down there? And they are already starting homes in De Soto! |

The secret is they have seeds for the houses, just plant and water, and stand back.....We are watching a new house on Del mar, amazing how fast they can put up a house. Ours was done in around 80 days from empty lot to move in ready.

We have watched the developer do that since 2003 when 466 was a two lane road and there was nothing south of 466 (not 466A.....466).
It is what and how they do it....very consistent method/procedure from planning to completed homes, then completed villages. |

It was interesting to me to learn about the mix of homes in CDD 12 that includes Fenney. A total of 3,637 homes will be built in CDD 12, including 1,700 villas, 1,928 standard homes and nine premier homes. Premier homes decline while villas are on the rise.

I think that it has remained fairly constant, that mix. There are many, many more designers and cottages, and ranches and villas than premiers. Just what people want to buy.

when looking at the map for Fenny, it does appear that the patio and courtyards are indeed selling, although I think slowly, but the designer and cottage, not so much
There seems to be lots of blue dots...spec homes available for sale. |
