I have a friend in Michigan who would like to visit this spring and take in some Tiger games.
Any ideas on how to get information? Don't they train in Lakeland or that area?

Maybe the TV developer could build a 10,000 seat baseball stadium and lure a team in to TV! With lots of golf cart parking!

Go to the Detroit Tigers site, Joker Marchant Stadium. Tickets go on sale Jan. 12 2008 at their site thru Ticket Master. Be prepared, buying tickets is just like buying concert tickets. The best seats go fast! I go to 4-5 games each spring. It is a 2 hour drive from the Villages. The Michigan club has bus outing each year. I have never been lucky enough to go with them.

Well, I used to be a baseball fan. Fell in love with the Royals after seeing the Quis pitch (first time seeing a submariner). Between the strike, Barry Bonds and steroids, they seem to have ripped my heart out. Thinking I need to find some AAA games to see and enjoy.
