Super helpful, all of you !

I went to Site One in Leesburg and bought the " replace the guts" setup, ie everything, but the casing. It was only 19 bucks and came with the solenoid, diaphram etc. The seeping had to be one of those because the problem is gone.

Thanks all !

Great dissatisfaction with the sprinklers

I’ve had nothing but aggravation with the sprinkler system, which was installed by the builder when he built the house.

Every once in a while, the pipes become separated and have to be reglued. I never know about the problem until I get the bill.

I received my bill last week and it had gone up about $150. If anyone has any solutions, I’m interested.

Thank you.

Wow. That sounds like you used an extra 50,000 gallons of water, assuming you are using reclaimed water for irrigation. I would consider installing a flow measuring device, with an automatic shutoff valve on the main irrigation pipe just past the meter. It will shut off the water if the flow rate exceeds a set amount. The only other option I can think of is to replace the entire irrigation system. It may not be as expensive as you think.

Sound like pipe has stress on it causing it to fail? Or wrong glue or improper gluing was used/done?
