Grrrr...

Better late than never, though.
China doesn't have a hold on this virus. Lies.

I hope this was a joke. I hate to think anyone would want to live in a country, state, or community that could dictate that.

Good, I need about 10 more guns LOL. My guns come in form of tennis rackets, pool cues, pickleball paddles, badminton rackets, and Texas Holden.

Unfortunately, probably not. If you go to the thread that (incorrectly) stated the governor of Rhode Island authorized the state police and national guard to go door to door and search homes for visitors from NY, you would be appalled at the number of people on this site that supported such an action because it was "for the good of the people of Rhode Island"

Think about that----American citizens willing to trash the constitution, specifically the 4th amendment, because of a viral outbreak because one person, albeit the governor, decided it was "for the good of the people" That is the thinking of a dictator in the making

Stalin killed millions for "the collective good"
Mao killed even more for "the good of the people"
Adolph thought he was preserving the human race

I agree with you, those kind of expedient shortcuts around our most basic laws because of a short term problem should be unthinkable.

Neither would I, but if you go to the article it is from the Washington Times and the AP

It stated that after the governor's stay at home order, the Sumter County Commissioner sent an e-mail that stated the stay at home order does not change golf in any way

Two more pages of responses, mostly golf, but no response to your question.

Not just quarantine but all the other support until they get to go back home.....guess who is going to foot that bill.
I would like to know the decision making process that brought them all the way here from South America. Lotta ports between here and where the ship left from (Argentina I think).

IMHO Dr Eagle’s only fault is that he likes golf and I’m not sure that is a fault. We all have different ways of protecting our Village people and some express their ways differently to make a point. I look forwards to his input regularly.

The cruise ship tried several times to dock in different countries none would let them.

I think they said Florida would let Floridians only off the ship.
