we had recently put a smiley face sticker on our mailbox in polo ridge. It was removed in less than a day. I checked with our mailman and he said other stickers have been removed, but he has no idea why or who.
I put a 2nd smiley face sticker on in the past day and it was removed again.
Makes me feel badly that someone is doing this and we have no idea why.

has it ever occured to you that is why they put numbers on the boxes. In addition, i beleve that defacing the mail boxes is a violation of federal law. I recall that when i paid for and erected a rural mail box, that box had the message embossed that it was the property of the us postal service.
