It is beyond me that anyone would go through the hassle of selling an item or two for a few bucks instead of taking it to a charity. For one thing, I would never let a stranger into my house. Secondly I would not want to be kept waiting and waiting for the buyer to show up..

Again, the guy has probably already been stiffed and he doesn’t know you. We know longer live in a world where if someone looks and talks like us can we trust them, which I do remember perceiving the world as a child and held onto that notion for quite some time. I’ve been burned by a Villager who was a lot less than honest on a fairly large purchase. My ignorance in not knowing what to look for made me feel like a chump. Everyone screws up now and then. Chalk it up as a learning experience and move on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is very true but unfortunately a fact of life and you just have to suck it up and deal with it. Just move on. This should be the worst thing that ever happens in your life. You see lack of honesty and integrity everywhere in our society these days from the bottom to the top. |

Just a thought . . .
Perhaps you should post post exactly what happened in a case such as this and also post the person's name. They would deserve it! |
