Congratulations to both of you! I agree with Kathie as far as it is likely to take about a month to really believe you are retired (at least that's the way it worked for my husband).

My mom retired a few years ago and even though she's in the middle of Nowhere Indiana, she can't believe how busy she's been.

Oddly, that picture was taken in TV at the playground in LSL. I'll update it with something else!

I'm so happy for you! We just bought a home at TV. We can only do the long weekends for another two years 'til hubby retires. We so look forward to being in your shoes. Wish you all the best!

Congrats Steve!
I have 610 days.......a widget on the laptop keeps track.
Until then, we only get to be here 2 months a year. We are here now, in fact, until the weekend prior to Thanksgiving.
We love it down here......it is always hard to go back to NY.
