I am getting very frustrated with the portal on the irs.gov website where I am supposed to be able to enter our direct deposit information. I go to irs.gov and click get my payment and input the required information and I get the message "Payment Status Not Available". I have tried several times over the last few days and just keep getting the same message over and over, and the only option available after I get the message is to click the EXIT tab, and start the same worthless loop again. And to think that some people want the government to run our entire health care system when they can't even make a portal on a website work correctly? Go figure?

That’s what I thought I will get the check mailed. Thank you. I feel a little better. Just needed someone else to direct me as I was going crazy on the web site.

FINALLY today I got the result "You are eligible but we don't have bank information, please click here to submit bank information if you want it electronically deposited."
(note: it didn't say exactly that, that's just the general idea) Prior to today, it only said it couldn't tell whether or not I was eligible, and no option to provide bank info. So we'll be getting the deposit soon, I hope! |
