I've been using this bag system for 8 years now and have peace of mind when I go in after the round to eat lunch. Cost is under $50 at most Country Clubs in TV.

I saw this system at Villages Golf Cars…$79…so $50 at pro shop sounds good!

What is a tile?

Disagree. A cover with a cable over you clubs will certainly make a thief think twice., and go for an easier target, unless your the only cart in the area.

Just remember, no matter how great you think someplace is, there’s still all walks of life. Just so the person knows I don’t live in the bubble that TV is no different than any other place just because of the average age that lives there! TV is a great place to live, yes even though I don’t live in your bubble anymore!

Bluetooth tracker. Same as the Apple Air Tags mentioned earlier but work with Android phones. https://smile.amazon.com/Tile-Blueto...p_ob_title_wld

They are tracking devices from Apple they are small squares that you can place on or in items to track it if you can’t find it, put one on your keychain, in your luggage or anything else that is lost or you may lose then you can track it on your iPhone I’m sure there are other brands as well just make sure they are compatible with your phone 😊

Air Tags are made by Apple. If someone steals something, or you lose something, any Apple phones in the neighborhood of the stolen object can track the tags.

Would appreciate a picture of how your lock cable is configured.

I bought a couple at golf shop$50. but a great investment. They could cut the cable, but they don’t want to take that long. Quick is the trick!

There appears to be slim pickings for an Android version of an Air Tag.

l2ridehd 08-07-2022 08:02 AM

I have checked the airtags and TILE tracking devices and they only have a range of about 300 feet. And if the thief has an apple phone he will know that the airtag is there and can disable it by taking the battery out. Not a great solution.

Hearing what happened at Cane Garden is enough to make one want to purposely leave the clubs unlocked in the parking lot in front of the clubhouse, take out the seven iron, hide out someplace close by, and wait for the low life scumbag to try to steal the sticks. That would be priceless justice.

Bay Kid 08-08-2022 07:02 AM

There seems to be no fear of anything happening to them if caught.

Viperguy 08-09-2022 04:36 AM

They will be for sale at the Marion market. You can go buy them back. It has happened before

Not all thieves are bright enough to check for trackers.
Your only real solution if no suggestions are viable, is never leave your clubs out of sight unattended.
Works 99.99% all the time!
