Default Stonecrest

To those living in Stonecrest. Can you tell me some of the advantages of your community and some of the disadvantages? Since I believe that it is a gated, secured development, is there a way for individuals to see homes for sale without a realtor? I am wondering if there is an increase in homes for sale? And if so, do you know why? In looking at Zillow, it seems like a lot of homes for sale, or maybe it's always like that. ( a lot for sale in The Villages also). Any information about you community would be appreciated.

You can drive through without a Realtor. We looked a year ago. The homes seemed nicer for the buck but it lacks the number of activities and variety of golf the villages offer which is why we went with TV.

I know that, that's why I'm asking. TV has tons of homes for sale as well. I'm just trying to find out if there is a reason for the amount of sales in Stonecrest. I guess probably the same reasons for the homes for sale here?

There are some who have left the villages and moved to stonecrest. There are many people on this site that have never visited TV. So why the concern. This is a great information site for all

We live in TV and have friends in Stonecrest. We also have friends who moved from TV to Stonecrest or a variety of reasons. I see nothing wrong with sharing information with those in other areas.

People make decisions on where they buy for their personal reasons and preferences. Nothing wrong with asking for second, third, and fourth opinions or inquirys.

Hello
I have been a resident of Stonecrest for 6 years. We love it! Three outdoor pools. One indoor pool. Hot tub. Many activities. Bingo on Fridays. Bunco once a month. A very friendly beautiful community! Stop by the model homes and check them out!

JMHO, but I think there are more listings at this time of year because there are more visitors. It may be easier to sell a home. You can always drive into Stonecrest to look at the new models during business hours, and you don't have to have a agent along. Just ask.

Not a chance...location,location ,location. I have always purchased a house in the best area I could afford. Which means a much smaller house on a smaller lot than I would get in a less desirable neighborhood. Forgoing the fact that life is better in a better area in the end upon selling I have been rewarded with a much greater profit in a shorter amount of time then if I had gotten that bigger house. No regrets buying the Villages and its lifestyle ! Stonecrest doesn't compare to the Villages. More like apples to oranges to me and a hundred thousand others .

If the focus is on house for the buck Harbor Hills would attract some. I loved the homes there as they put so much more in the home. I hadn't discovered Harbor Hills until after I bought in The Villages and was amazed that I could have bought substantially more square footage, better appointment indoors n and a pool for the same price as my home in TV. I would have moved but wife felt isolated while I felt relax with more space. But we do compromise and have so for our entire lives so again we compromised and did it her way.
By the way great golf course there really quality
