Many people don't know this but Palmer's outdoor restaurant seating was going strong all during the shut down of restaurants. I know several people that went there, ate on the patio with servers. It was touted as the place to go during the shutdown.

Such hateful responses on all sides ☹️. Some people believe it is just common courtesy to wear a mask , others don’t. Just as in religion or politics, you won’t change someone’s mind because they know the “truth”.

Disagree with the lawsuit part. The patron can CHOOSE not to dine there, so they are accepting risk by going there.

I just searched the wed for virus data in Sumter County and found a chart that shows that as of May 20 there were 253 reported cases of COVID-19 in Sumter County and 19 deaths

Just don’t go! You have a choice but you can not force others to do what you think is best!

The following is a quote from Dr. Shanti Akers, MD, who treats COVID-19 patients. The posters here who denigrate the importance of wearing masks to protect other people (and to some extent themselves) and to help stop the spread of the virus might want to reflect on it.

“Not wearing a mask is a sign of your privilege. It means that, even in a pandemic, with thousands of people dying, you have not been touched by sorrow. Trust me, if you had actually seen Covid-19 in action, ravaging the human body, you’d be wearing the damn mask.”

The idiots are everywhere, most Villagers seem to be considerate of keeping us all a little healthier, but the ones that don’t care seem to gather in the same spots, it makes it look bad when people don’t care , unfortunately it won’t convince some until it hits home , and a friend or relative catches the Virus.
Remember , we may be the Friendliest Villages , but not the SMARTEST😔

Stay home and be safe! Allow Palmer to go out of business like a lot of other businesses because they cannot make money if you stay home! But you will be safe! Listen to experts who change their opinions every ten minutes about masks and such while our freedoms are removed by a bunch of political tyrants and newspeople at CNN who seem to know nothing! But you will be safe! I have had it with the brainwash and I want FREEDOM!

You are right! The attitude of some of the people here is amazing because most of them are high risk. I think they are hoping if they ignore it., it will go away or they didn’t believe it was here in the first place. They argue about the correctness of the numbers who have died as if a few here and there make the difference!

Havana last night same thing. Masks under nose and glasses handled on the rim no gloves. Arm chairs on seats not cleaned and credit cards pens handled with no gloves.
