What has happened in the last week that has prompted a rush once again on paper products? Store shelves in Target and Colony Publix are nearly empty once again of toilet paper and paper towels. Those are the only two stores I've been to in the past week (yesterday) but I'm afraid that is becoming a trend and we will see wide spread hoarding again. Hurricane season is just about over. So....just wondering why empty shelves again?

I understand the issue is hoarding but, my original post was to figure out why the hoarding AGAIN? I honestly do not think it is a supply issue because why, all of a sudden, would there be a supply issue?

I just read read on another thread that some of the stores are limiting capacity again due to the pandemic kicking up into high gear. Now I understand the reason for the hoarding.

Believe it or not toilet paper and paper towel shortages started showing strain in August according to producers' demand was up about 16% in some areas of the nation. Supply chains adjust accordingly supplying those areas.

I always check TV website for homes for sale and see for yourself VLS 232060, at 534 Inner circle Look at the master closet and it looks the Sams club with all the hoarded toilet paper. Unbelievable!
