Winn Dixie at LSL was loaded this afternoon with everything you could want from TP to PT to hand sanitizer. They even has BOGO TP. So things ain't that drastic (yet). Just watch what you eat and stay away from Taco Bell. :D

I Bought T P and paper towels at sam’s on Sunday. Plenty at walgreen’s Lake Denton on Monday.

While in Orlando Monday stopped into a Publix , the shelves were filled with paper products and yesterday did the same thing while in Ocala the shelves were filled there also, I didn’t buy any I didn’t need any . I guess the villages with the large amounts of guns and ammo and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper is ready for the those hordes of urban rabble who are coming to take over

Nope, not this thread, look at who OP is in the first place.

I was responding to Charlieo's post about the fears of the "urban rabble" coming in.

Well all you have to do is read this site or listen to some guys at Starbucks talking about there guns and stocking up and ready to shoot looters who come here , I’ll just keep my doors unlocked by
Paper products when I need them and manage to live here without a gun or 3 months supply of hungry man dinners

Walmart on 466 today around 2pm almost completely out of tp and paper towels and limit 1 per customer. We are using mostly wash rags.

On Saturday, 11/21, went to Leesburg Walmart, Colony Publix, and Walmart Market for various things only each store had. No TP and very little paper towel at any store. Laughable how easily people can be fooled and panicked. Then again...

Has anyone ever been to a pizza restaurant and been told that they are out of Pizza crust? I have, and the restaurant manager said that it does happen every once in a while. Random demand and occasional delivery delays can cause inventory to be temporarily. With storms, and employees out sick, etc. . . a random store out of product is not unusual. Up here in MA, there are stores very low on TP and PT, but those are the big box stores, and the supermarkets have plenty, although a higher price.

Also, there is a seasonal migration, there are many more remote workers who might just take advantage of the environment, and spend the winter instead of renting, and then there are stores that manage the inventory day to day.

So there may not be just one "satisfying" answer, but there may be a combination of reasons, which results in a store being out whereas others are not.

The world is not linear and singular in events
