There are many people in our community that do not subscribe to TVDS for various reasons. Thus, they are missing out on critical public health information. This endangers all the community. Thus, the powers-that-be at TVDS could provide a public service by providing online and/or physically delivered newspapers during the pandemic.

P.S. I am a paid TVDS subscriber.

this is one of the dumbest, bleeding heart suggestions that I've heard in quite awhile...I give a lot of $$$ to causes, but I'm tone deaf to helping those that don't lift a finger to help themselves

I agree the Daily Sun is really really “Cheap”out of pocket cost. If you can’t afford the Sun, then you surely can’t afford to live in The Villages. I would wager if you call them today your paper would start tomorrow.

I do not want any information, health or otherwise, from this locally-owned paper. I'll stick with other more experienced papers, tv and online sites. Thanks though.

I won't agree about your comment about the questions. But your comment the value of the information is spot on. "Yesterday's news tomorrow."

Like you can't get all the fake news you need from the television! People who want free everything are in the wrong place. Nothing is free. If you can not afford the paper, stop it.

I suspended the Daily Sun recently because of this COVID19 going around. It's just like the mail, it carries the virus germs for over 24 hours. You do not know how many hands have been on that paper. No paper for me til this virus is over. Everything is online that I need right now to read. Use their app. Who wants to leave their paper in the driveway for 24 hours anyway.

If people choose not to get the paper why should the Daily Sun be expected to provide it for free? By the way, the Salvation Army’s food pantry is extremely low right now and in need of our help.

I wouldn’t read that biased, ancient history if I found it on my driveway even if I wasn’t worried that it might be infected with COVID-19. If I did find the papers on my driveway, I’d have to disinfect them and then waste trash bags to hold them until trash day.

No, thank you. I’ll stick to the internet for news that is actually current.

The Daily Sun is the LAST source I’d depend on for credible news on any serious matter. Read a REAL newspaper online.

Why would you even post something like this especially at a time when so many working people are being laid off and losing out on paychecks? So many other hourly sources for Covid19 updates besides a daily newspaper.
