It is indeed, pretty. The smoke from the controlled burns today has most likely helped in making this evening's sunset, something quite spectacular. Thanks for letting me know!

Ah shucks. I missed it. Guess I was too busy discussing early bird garage salers.

Thanks for attempting to get me away from the keyboard!

It may be pretty but the smell of the smoke is nauseating! Takes me back to Southern California and a brush fire burning out of control with the Santa Ana winds blowing up a storm - pretty sunsets then, too!

Amen to that. I don't miss the Santa Anas and the fires either....but you're right, the sunsets were spectacular.

You are right.. It got more spectacular as it got darker. We were on the course and one of our friends said, " Can you hear How great thou art playing in the background?

My wife was coming back from a Lifelong Learning College class up by Palmer and told me the sunset was beautiful, but here in Emmalee Villas we are on the sunrise side of the hill, and I was so tired from having too much fun I couldn't get off the couch to check it out

Although I did *think* about going up to Sunset Park to take a photo...

If I were to paint it P, I would have used a lot of pinks and grayed lavenders and a little peach thrown in. But the artist who did paint it did a spectacular job as always.
