I got 3 small buterflies tatooed on my shoulder to mark my 60th birthday. It did not hurt that much. Tatooing has come a long way. It is much safer and easier than in the past. I read that the fastest growing number of first time tatoos was in the 50+ age group.

There is a tattoo shop in Baylee Plaza on 27/441, 1 mile north of TV. Same plaza as Taverna Red and Sears.

Default Got Tattoo

I got my tattoo in 1996. Thought it was my mid-life crisis purchase since I couldn't buy a red convertible. It has a heart, four-leaf clover, purple rose, and a quarter moon with sun shining on it (because I stayed up late at nights and went to work early in the morning). Unless I have my swimsuit on or a lower cut blouse, you can't see it.

BUT in 2010, I bought a silver convertible here in The Villages. One of my kids thought I was having a late life crisis to move here AND buy a convertible.

Wonder what my next-life crisis purchase will be?????
