I was just looking in the Daily Sun homes for sale section today. It appears the new homes are starting in the $500K range and most selling for $6K to $7K. That said you can buy some Cottage homes and Patio Villas for close to $400K. We own a 2100 sq. ft. home in Sumter valued at $500K and are paying just shy of $3,000 a year.

It would be a new house in the 400k Range, 1500-2000 sq '

Was trying to figure out what property taxes may be in those newer homes.

Just the Property Tax not including the bond.

I realize it depends on what county you are in, are the newer sections all in the same county?

Any insight would be much appreciated from some one who has gotten a tax bill after living there awhile.

I did the research -- see attachment.

Ad Velorum taxes in the villages of Dabney, Newell & Lake Denham will probably be slightly higher than the villages of Pine Hill and Pine Ridge because the Leesburg millage rate, 4.0192, is slightly higher than Fruitland Park's. Obviously, that could change in 2023.
