Looking for recommendations on companies who can do a textured concrete overlay for our driveway to look like shiny slate tiles, but with grip.

We used Florida Deck to do ours. We love it! Everyone who sees it asks who did it. It is some sort of textured epoxy and you can choose your colors and design. Take a look at their website. They have tons of pics and they will give you the addresses of houses they have done so you can drive by and take a look.

Recommend Florida Deck

We also used Florida Deck. They were very good to work with, not cheap, but they do great work and stand behind their services.

I will send a PM with address. Driveway was painted by 'Driveways by Jay' you find him through Hometown services, 877-713-2902.

I have used, at a previous home, a tinted/stained concrete overspray. It was designed to look like tile. It was great a stood up for over 10 years.

Look for a company that uses colored concrete rather just staining concrete. It is more expensive but it looks great. Hey, as the saying goes, “You might as well go first class or your kids will,” 🤣

Cool Deck is one product used by T&D on pool decks. Not sure about driveways. Also a company that may or may not be around is called American Concrete Staining, Tel: (352) 308-7213

Get it done!! We had ours 9 years. Had it sealed once! Have many compliments on it. Make the outside look stunning. Didn't do overlay. Just had it painted like stone design.

I am reding concrete staining is a good way to go. Would like to see what it looks like also. If you are willing to provide the address, I'd like to see it too!

Waste of money imo, it’s driveway not the yellow brick road.

The finish is a cobble stone effect, with a solid border.

Are there any options for a paver drive that is in relatively good shape, but has a cracked paver brick here and there ? Do all companies, finishes, etc. require all the pavers to be removed first in order to put on some other surface..... was wondering if there is any kind of topping, surface, re-do, that is simply placed over the pavers. Some like the habitual "resealing and resanding" .... a VERY expensive process that has to be done much more frequently than they tell you ! Was thinking more of some kind of surface that would adhere the pavers together and reinforce much better than the sand they use.

That really looks great ! So what does "not cheap" mean with your size drive ? How much would pavers be .... 10K ? or much more than that ? Does yours need to be "resealed" like paver drives ? That is really expensive (resealing) and has to be done so often, though they TELL you only every 3 years or so, not true according to several of our neighbors !
