I think TV may not have had a max test but it was tested upto about 75+mph (and a foot of rain) and passed 99.99%

Those that knock the construction etc makes me wonder if they didn't like or think these house were constructed well enough or to code why the heck did they buy/move here!

The average homeowner knows little or nothing regarding the construction of a home, particularly when you are buying a resale.

Homeowners in TV did not buy here because of the way our homes are constructed, and frankly, the construction is nothing special and just average.

Those who purchased a home here bought because they either wanted to move to Florida (no snow) and because of the activities offered here -- or both.

The construction of the homes has nothing to do with a person's decision and desire to live here.

Rubicon -- Exactly! You hit the nail on the head.

The so-called "planners and developers" had nothing to do with the "execution of a safe community."

Thankfully, those homeowners who sailed through the storm with no problems were just lucky.

Thank Mrs. Robinson, you get it. I spent many years in insurance both Human Resources and Claims. I have spent much time in cat areas over the years floods, hurricane hail losses tornadoes writing estimates, adjusting losses or managing claims adjusters in cat areas. You do learn a thing or two about construction, about contractors and about how devastating an affect it has on human lives.

Despite man's good intentions nature prevails. You are right about the construction of the homes.

The eye of this storm came right at us but by the time it reach TV the wind had sheared/ disintegrated. To my way of thinking The Villages of Lake Sumter, Inc. (Developer) had no hand in that major factor. I let others decide who to thank. Personally, I knelt down and thank God above.

Personal Best Regards:
