That’s what I want to know, what’s a golf cart screen? Golf carts as far as I know did have any kind of a screen in it when we bought it.

There are some really nasty people in TV and you were very unlucky and in the wrong place.

Most likely not a villager. Incidents of theft occur in areas frequented by non-residents, at least that has been my observation during my 18 year stay.

True, but we are the only golf cart community in the immediate area, so a good chance the thief lives among us.

The other 99+% of us honest residents suggest do not waste much time on the isolated incidents.......

I'm'a guessing it's one of these:

Amazon.com

There is a resident that makes a screen that fits the opening when the windshield is down. Helps keep bugs out of your mouth in the summer. He is usually at vendor fairs and maybe some vendor nights.

You are right but figuring it is someone who has a golf cart but that could be wrong as well.

Close...

There's a guy who sells 1/2 screens (they fit in the top half of the windshield when it's folded down) on Market Nights at the squares...

My buddy has one and uses it in the Summer, for extra ventilation... It keeps the bugs from smacking you in the face...

Just disappointed that someone felt a need to steal our golf cart screen.
Our cart broke down near the Veterans Park in Spanish Springs and someone felt the need to take the screen out while we were waiting to have it towed.
We walked to get something to eat and it was gone.
There will be karma! 😉

100% positive .. it didn't just fall out... during the tow ..

PLUS, that's an area that's "open to the public." That said, there are scum bags wherever you go,. Sorry for your loss.

It costs about $22. There is a gent who makes them according to yr and make. FANTASTIC during love bug seasons. Btw- he delivers them.

JGibson 10-21-2022 04:41 AM

Maybe we need to zip tie them to frame or screw them into the frame and remove only when you want to hose them down and get the bugs off. They only cost about $20 but thieves are opportunists.

I know this is off topic........but maybe there is someone on this thread who knows the answer. Where can I buy flip down sun visors that clamp to the bar at the top of the windshield on a Yamaha golf cart? I know the local cart business is the obvious answer, but I am hoping for less expensive option. I haven't been able to find one online or amazon that I am sure will work. thanks....and to the OP, I'm sorry that happened to you.
